B i o g r a p h y

Nancy Munn began her career singing with the D'Oyly Carte Opera and Welsh National Opera companies where roles included Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, Cupid in Orpheus in the Underworld, and Frasquita in Carmen.  European concert appearances included Elijah and Messiah at St David's Hall, Cardiff, a BloomsTime recital at Dublin's James Joyce House, and singing for three Prime Ministers at Westminster Abbey, London.

Nancy has sung as a guest artist with the Corpus Christi Symphony, Corpus Christi Chorale, Gulf Coast  Master Chorus, and the Corpus Christi Cathedral.   In the San Francisco Bay Area, she has sung with San Francisco Renaissance Voices, Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra Chorale, the Sanford Dole Ensemble,  Artist's Vocal Ensemble, the San Francisco Symphony Chorus, the University of California Alumni Chorus, and as soprano soloist in Brahms' Requiem with the San Francisco Choral Society and the First Unitarian Universalist  Society of San Francisco.

She has taught voice at Texas A&M University Kingsville and Del Mar College, Corpus Christi and is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
